Accenture Acquires Brazil’s Data Analyst firm Tenbu

Accenture acquired Brazilian cloud data and AI specialist Tenbu, gaining access to a large pool of analytics solutions and technology experts.

São Palo-based Tenbu employs 170 data specialists, whose main job is to help the company’s clients analyze their own data on their way to increasing revenue.

“Tenbu is on a mission to inspire people to creatively use data,” Accenture stated in a press release.

This is Accenture’s second acquisition in Brazil’s cloud market, after its 2020 purchase of Organize Cloud Labs. A specialist in devising cloud strategy for large and medium enterprises, Organize Cloud Labs was also one of the fastest growing Brazilian companies.

Tenbu will soon be folded into Accenture, with its employees beginning to serve Accenture Cloud First, a fully-owned subsidiary of the global IT consultancy.

“Adding the Tenbu team will expand our capabilities to help companies drive new services, growth and resilience using data from across the cloud continuum for intelligent decision-making,” said Karthik Narain, global lead for Accenture Cloud First.
