Delbridge Launches Nearshoring Services With an Office in Costa Rica

Canada’s tech advisory firm Delbridge Solutions has expanded its operations to Latin America with the launch of a center of excellence in the Costa Rican city of Liberia.

Ontario-based Delbridge says it will hire around 50 people in Costa Rica, from where it will deliver nearshoring services to its clients in the US and Canada. Delbridge’s other offices are in Washington, Delaware and Bucharest (Romania).

The Canadian firm provides data analytics and tech advisory services. Its roster of clients includes Coca-Cola, Morgan Stanley, Prudential, Sunnybrook and the NFL.

Most of the foreign companies that open shop in Costa Rica do so in San Jose’s free trade zone. Delbridge pulled a surprising move by landing in Liberia, in the province of Guanacaste.

The Central American country recently began offering fabulous incentives for companies opening offices outside the San Jose Metropolitan Area in a bid to create job opportunities for people elsewhere in the country.

Delbridge is giving thought to the opening of another office in San Jose in early 2023, according to CINDE, Costa Rica’s investment promotion agency.

“We believe Costa Rica’s stable political system, developed and transparent economy and infrastructure, and excellent higher education system creates a perfect business climate,” stated Leon Kharkhourin, CEO of Delbridge.
