Japanese technology giant Hitachi Vantara is growing its presence in Latin America to capitalize on the region’s surging demand for data solutions.
Hitachi Vantara has already secured approximately 10 clients in Latin America to manage their data, a crucial component of AI development, as per BNAmericas,
The company offers a comprehensive suite of data management services, ranging from storage to advanced analytics.
Hitachi Vantara already has offices in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Chile.
The company has also forged strategic partnerships with major American technology firms, including leading cloud service providers like Microsoft, Google Cloud, and Amazon.
Additionally, collaborations with service giants such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Accenture enable seamless integration of its technology solutions.
Hitachi Vantara’s Latin American presence has expanded significantly following its acquisition of GlobalLogic, which operates in countries including Peru, Uruguay, Mexico, and Colombia.
In late 2023, the company announced plans to increase its annual revenue in the region by 17%. Currently, 61% of its Latin American revenue is derived from product and technology sales, while 39% comes from services.
