Another fruitful year has gone by for the Nearshore.
In spite of the so-called “permacrisis” that stretched throughout 2022 –or maybe because of it– investors kept betting on the region, which managed to hold on to its reputation as a land of untapped potential and a low-cost, high-quality alternative amidst the rising tides of inflation.
From Mexico and Costa Rica, all the way down to Chile and Argentina, passing through several Caribbean islands, offices of foreign companies from the business process outsourcing (BPO) and software services industries keep sprouting all over the Nearshore. Names include big players in their respective industries, such as Microsoft, Didi, Globant, Qualfon, Arkrose Labs and Boston Consulting.
The following infographic means to illustrate one of the many faces of that optimism for the Nearshore. In it you’ll find an extensive –though not exhaustive– summary of the delivery centers opened in the territory throughout 2022, built from our backlog of news briefs.
