Frost analyst Victor Casiano kicks off our partnership with an interesting analysis of El Salvador’s sourcing market
With four offices in Latin America, Frost is uniquely able to provide on-the-ground views on the wide set of factors that impact sourcing relationships, and perhaps one of the most important is how the maturity of ICT policy and competitiveness impacts domestic global services markets.
Our new alliance enables us to deliver regular commentaries by three of the leading Frost analysts, based in Latin America. They include: Victor Hugo Casiano, Juan Manuel González and Raphael Ayres Barone. (Bios are at the end of this post.)
Victor kicks off our partnership with an interesting analysis of El Salvador’s sourcing market, where he points to the serious-minded initiatives the government there is taking to bring more investment to BPOs and also the deliberate effort the country is making to move up the global services value chain.

Victor Hugo Casiano is an Industry Analyst with the Frost & Sullivan Latin American Information & Communication Technologies Practice. He focuses on monitoring and analyzing emerging trends, technologies and market dynamics in the Telecom and Enterprise Communications industry in Latin America. Since joining Frost & Sullivan in June 2005, Casiano has completed several research studies and consulting projects on Data Communications Services, Mobile Content Applications and Network Services Markets, as well as overall analysis of the telecommunications sector in Mexico. Raphael Ayres Barone Raphael has worked with clients in the ICT industry, such as Avaya, Telefonica, Intercall, Siemens, Cisco and Contact Center Americas. As a Research Analyst in Frost & Sullivan’s Global ICT Practice, Raphael is responsible for researching and monitoring the Latin American Enterprise Communications Technologies industry. In these markets, he has carried out extensive analysis, quantitative forecasting, market behavior, competitive profiling and identification of key and emerging trends in the industry, including regulatory, technology and end user issues. He has also been involved in strategic consulting projects.
