American supply chain solutions vendor OnProcess Technology expanded the operations of its global services center in Costa Rica by opening another office in Heredia.
The Boston-based company invested US$5 million in the new services center and aims to create 120 new jobs over the next two months, according to Costa Rica investment promotion agency, CINDE.
OnProcess has been operating in the Costa Rica since 2015. It currently employs 300 people in the country.
“Costa Rica is the ideal location to provide key services to the US, EMEA, and APAC regions,” says OnProcess CEO Oliver Lemanski.
OnProcess’s solutions digitize the entire supply chain process. A large majority of its customers are telecommunications companies, IT service providers and manufacturers of medical equipment.
The company’s staff in Costa Rica provides a variety of services, including order fulfillment, customer service and technical support. They help a large IT company manage the order fulfillment process, which includes receiving orders, processing payments and shipping products to customers.
They also provide customer service to a medical technology company, which includes answering questions, resolving issues and providing technical support.
