Brazilian IT firm Stefanini kept on with its shopping spree, acquiring regional digital agency Ecglobal.
São Paulo-based Ecglobal specializes in data intelligence and analysis. The firm runs offices in Mexico, Argentina, the United States and Britain. Its clients include the likes of Nestlé, Natura, BRF, HBO and Itaú.
The agency runs online forums and communities, besides developing connections with consumers through social media channels. It claims to have more than 1 million active consumers on its platform, 600,000 of them in Brazil. Every year, it releases an index of the most loved Brazilian consumer brands.
“Ecglobal will complement our digital offer,” stated Stefanini in a press release, referring to its own social platform called Haus ecosystem.
“We found synergy at first sight,” said Bruno Caloi, M&A Director at Stefanini. “We envision the possibility of expanding the activities of the current Digital Marketing platform provided by Stefanini Haus with great potential for cross-selling between customer bases.”
The merger will ease the task of generating intelligence and analyzing data, stated Stefanini, whose annual revenue exceeded US$1 billion last year.
This is Stefanini’s second acquisition this year, during which the company hopes to achieve 25% growth. The firm has acquired 11 companies since 2020, when it unveiled an exclusive budget to purchase smaller competitors in the IT services sector.
