Sutherland Global is reportedly in talks to acquire Suneratech, an India-based vendor of automation solutions.
The deal would value Suneratech at US$200 million, reported India’s The Economic Times, citing sources familiar with the matter.
Suneratech, which was founded in 2008, employs over 2,000 workersacross its locations in Hyderabad (India), Ontario (Canada), Singapore and the UAE. Its clients include Adidas, Facebook, Godrej, Reebok, HUL, Oracle, P&G, Schneider and USHA.
Suneratech’s cloud automation platform is used by businesses to automate their IT processes and migrate to the cloud. Some clients also use it to improve testing capabilities and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Market analysts see the potential Suneratech acquisition as a prudent move for Sutherland, given the fast increase in the demand for automation services.
Sutherland Global is a major player in Latin America as well. The company employs nearly 20,000 people across its offices in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Jamaica and Chile.
The company’s Latin American operations mainly provide BPO services, including customer service, IT support, back-office operations and enterprise application development and management.
