Dutch back-office services provider TMF Group further solidified its presence in Latin America through the acquisition of Uruguayan professional services firm Auren SC.
TMF’s most recent buy follows closely the acquisitions of two smaller BPO providers, KMC Campos y Campos and Matas Lorenzo, in Mexico.
Auren SC, despite its modest workforce of 200 employees, brings a wealth of experience and local market knowledge to TMF Group. The firm has been operating in Uruguay for over three decades.
“This acquisition is a crucial part of our expansion plan in Latin America,” stated Monica Vera, Head of Latin America at TMF Group. “We are delighted to welcome Auren SC’s colleagues and clients to our team.”
Industry analysts suggest that Auren SC’s clients will benefit significantly from the acquisition.
TMF Group’s global presence, spanning 86 jurisdictions, will provide easier access to international markets and assistance in navigating complex regulatory environments.
TMF Group’s recent partnership with SAP implementation expert BE1S further strengthens its position as a one-stop business provider, helping clients streamline compliance with local and international regulations.
Headquartered in Amsterdam, TMF Group has been active in Latin America since 2006, offering a comprehensive range of back-office services, including corporate secretarial, entity management and HR and payroll services.
The company employs more than 11,000 people across 125 offices worldwide and manages assets totaling over US$215 billion.
